Is home health care expensive? Home health care is more
convenient and less expensive than hospital care. A patient may require critical care that may need special procedures to be performed multiple times every day. In-hospital care is usually much more expensive and it is not feasible to keep the patient in a hospital for a long period of time since it is not cost-effective. In-home care provides professional medical care of hospital standards to the patient in the comfort of their home. It is highly cost-effective when compared to in-hospital care.
Does your in-home care agency conduct background checks on your caregiver employees?
All Caringhands Care Services caregivers are required to complete a thorough background check. We make certain all caregivers are properly screened in order for your loved one to be fully protected. This includes thorough police and court checks, ensuring they have credible guarantors and references etc.
Will my information be kept private?
Yes, at Caringhands Care Services, residents’ information with us is strictly confidential and cannot be disclosed to the public without your consent.
Do you really care about me and my family?
This might not be a question you ask out loud, but it’s a question most people will have in mind when choosing an in-home care agency. We can confidently say yes, we do care about helping you and your family. At Caringhands Care Services, one of our priority, is to give residents’ families and those who love them the peace of mind and security that comes with ensuring their loved ones are in reliable hands.
What if my caregiver does not show up for a scheduled shift?
This is a very rare event. But if it does occur, Caringhands Care Services offers a system that enables the caregiver to “clock in” and “clock out”. If a scheduled shift has not been called in, we will send a secondary caregiver. There are no missed shifts.
